Maria Salvador

Maria Salvador (b. 1992) is a Filipino Textile Artist and Fashion Designer who studied at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines. Her practice exists at the intersection of textile, fashion, and visual art, using fabric and fiber as a language for emotion, memory, and imagination. For Salvador, textile is more than a material—it is a medium that carries movement, texture, vulnerability, and human touch. Through layering, stitching, weaving, and unconventional fabric manipulation, she transforms soft materials into immersive works that blur the line between wearable art and contemporary art.
