Liturgy of the Wind reorients Arce’s inquiry toward the unseen forces that animate interior life. Thought is no longer contained, but carried - unfixed, restless, and reverent. The title suggests a ritual without doctrine, a devotion shaped by movement rather than monument. What drifts through these works is not belief, but consciousness itself, circulating with quiet insistence.
Departing from the familiar emblem of the thought bubble, the artist dissolves its borders, allowing emotion and cognition to disperse like air across the pictorial field. These paintings do not illustrate ideas; they register states of being. Sensation replaces statement. Logic loosens its grip. What remains is a charged atmosphere where inner dialogue swells, fragments, and reforms beyond speech.
Each work functions as an open structure, an altar awaiting mental presence. Viewers are invited to inhabit this suspended terrain, to supply their own unspoken narratives, and to listen inwardly. Reflection becomes an act of participation, a silent rite enacted between image and mind.
Liturgy of the Wind ultimately proposes intimacy without enclosure. Arce renders the invisible palpable, acknowledging that the most profound ceremonies unfold quietly, within shifting chambers of awareness where thought moves freely, endlessly, and without witness.
