Passing Footsteps resonates a quiet reverie, where solitude becomes a companion, and each stride forward is a question whispered to the unknown. In his exhibition, artist Jefkin Bienes unveils remnants of a dream remembered, wanderers traversing mist-laden forests and gliding gently along rivers upon modest rafts, the tone is hushed, contemplative, steeped in the twilight between departure and arrival.
Jefkin's artworks evoke the physical act of roaming and the metaphysical weight of passage through time, navigating one's memory and the veiled terrain of selfhood. Each composition is a meditation on presence. Each traveler carries a quiet purpose known only to them. Nature, rendered with tenderness and restraint, reflects an inner landscape, serene yet stirring, still yet yearning.
The exhibition is a tender homage to the slow pilgrimage of being, a walk toward what lies beyond the trees, and what stirs just beneath the soul. In each soft horizon and lingering pause, Jefkin reminds the viewer that the quietest journeys often echo the loudest truths, reverberating through the soul where every step dissolves into mist, and every silence holds the promise of what still lies unseen.
