Sanctuary is an exploration of stillness within motion- a meditation on the divine spaces that exist between breath, between wings, between the seen and unseen. In these drawings, the natural world becomes a vessel for spiritual reflection. The birds, poised in eternal flight, are not bound by gravity but by grace; they move through cloud and bloom as if tracing the pulse of something sacred.

Rendered in tones of light and shadow, each piece invites contemplation on the nature of refuge. The dark backgrounds are not voids but thresholds - spaces of potential where spirit gathers. The hummingbirds, with their suspended energy, mirror the restless search for transcendence, while the swan embodies serenity, the soul at peace within its own creation. Flowers, clouds, and feathers intertwine as emblems of renewal, fragility, and the cyclical rhythm of life and return.

Sanctuary is not a place to arrive, but a state to remember - a quiet awakening to the divine that exists in all living things, in the harmony between movement and stillness, life and light.
